Excellent!

Oh... Politics are so exciting down in Oz! Great animation, and very humorous, even for a Yank like me.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks v much!

Unique!

I have not seen anything quite like this before. It is highly stylized, in a good way. And you can draw well in pencil & paper, so you can pull this off. This flash could pass simply on the novelty of the graphics, yet you have not neglected to retain good 'ol ock humor. This is a definate fifen from me. I do hope you make more like this.

Kumquat-Lock responds:

I'm pleased you support all things Paper' Ish. I'll surely do more like this, it was a great experience. Thanks man.

Twofold Irony...

Irony 1: Your movie is anything but unappreciated, heck, its #2 (ratings wise) in the CD06 collection.

Irony 2: Yet, even so... it IS underappreciated. For being so well scoring, it is not on the frontpage, and hardly as any reviews! I don't understand why, though. This flash is amazing!

Now, on to my review. The art is excellent: it is simple and stylish, and nothing seemed out-of-place. The voice acting was superb! The sound quality was pristine: how did you and your actors achieve this?

But where this flash really shines is in its dialogue: Every moment of conversation was engaging. I think that this probably has a lot to do with the liberal sprinkling of humor in the piece, even in 'serious', plot-progressing scenes. Keep up the good work!

SherClockHolmes responds:

It is not the movie that is unappreciated, but the people in it. It did land on front page for a bit, but it was shortly knocked off. <3

To Make An Egyptian Metaphor...

This flash was a perfect capstone for the "Pyramid" that is Clockday '06. A good strong flash to finish off my day. Thank you for making it. The art is gorgeous... the water effects are especially reminiscent of the Brackenwood movies (which is a good thing). It was very nicely animated as well.

You show great potential, ToadClock! I am eager to get to know you better in the days to come. Happy B-lated Clock Day!

ToadClock responds:

Happy Clockday!
Strawberry bless us! Everyone!

Et Earello Endorenna Utulien...

You've done it again StrangeClock... This second installment of yours continues to deliver all that we've come to appreciate about your movies. The graphics were excellent, it looked like I was watching an animated version of Pete Jackson's film! The style was definately a 10 as well, you seamlessly blended the culture of Newgrounds with that of Middle Earth. Sound; the voice acting was superb. Not a single microphone crackle! And even though the characters were speaking lines from the movies, the actors made their own dramatic choices. Which is refreshing.

Interactivity is a 10. For a movie, I was granted full interactivity (scene select, stop, play).

Humor: There really wasn't much humor in this section, but then again, it wasn't needed. This part was more about plot development. I gave you a ten anyways for symmetry's sake. ^_^

Overall this is a fantastic piece of work... I pray that we won't have to wait another year for part 3!

It is an honor to view this...

Ah StrawberryClock, your genius knows no bounds! Truly this work was produced at the urging of the Muses themselves. Indeed, I am immediately struck by the ineffable beauty of the piece: So simple, yet complex... Puerile in the finest degree, and yet at the same time carrying the wisdom of twenty generations.

It was the magnificence of B with brought me into the <3 that is the Clock Crew. I thank you for that, kind Sir. And on this Clock Day '06, the fifth birthday of this epic art, I praise you in my pilgrimage to the glory that is B.

I'm Mahjong... Have a nice day.
